Presentation
ISADORA, Art Deco is a new Art Center specialising in Art Decó Style, which due to it's level and characteristics can be classified as one of the best in this field in Spain, and naturally, unique in Galicia.
The name of the establishment is in reference to Isadora Duncan, the famous American dancer, an icon who left her mark thoughout all the period.

Taking its name after the international decorative arts and modern industries exhibition of Paris, 1925, Art Deco was a style which rejoyced the charm of a new era; the Hollywood fantasy, luxury transatlantic liners and the orient express.

Isadora, situated in the center of A Coruña in Alfredo Vicenti street and few meters from the plaza de Pontevedra, gathers together in its 600 sq meters, pictures, furniture and decorative arts, both.
European and North American, from the 1920's, 30's and 40's, as well as dedicating a small section to vintage fashion and retro complements. |

Isadora counts with a gallery stock of Galician painting by the most prestigious signatures, both antique and contemporany. Arturo Souto, Laxeiro, Seoane, Dans, Frau,. amongst many others. |

In Isadora we also have an art gallery with the intention of holding three or four exhibitions of importance or cultural interest each year. The inaugural exhibition was "Alabaster Sculpture over the centuries", 110 pieces which from part of a unique collection in the world, whith rearly 300 pieces in a chronological context covering paleochristianity to the 18th century. |

Three years after the inauguration, Jaime Trigo and his partner Ana Gandara feel very satisfied with the reception their establishment has recieved, proud of having achived a small contribution to a city like Coruña, which posesses important art and leisure centers. |
